The next Alaskan Malamute Litter Expected on or before June 17th, 2009
Alaskan malamute, ponderous dog, well built with solid body, wide head, proud expression.
Their ears upright, eyes small, almond shape. Like those of a wolf, but sweet expression.
Coat is thick, legs, muzzle is almost always white. Its tail waves over its back. Nordic dog, descended from the Arctic wolf, the name comes from Mahlemuit, Alaskan tribe who raised, cared for these beautiful dogs.
One of the most beautiful dogs in the world. Big, powerful, friendly disposition, strong willed, active, dog of endurance, skill, gentle people loving, sweetly affectionate.
They strive for attention, require lots of it. Use intelligence, independence to establish relationships with people. Wonderful companion, people oriented, best buddy dog, very stubborn. Likes to be center of attention. Even tempered animal, caring, has character, gentle loving nature, outstanding qualities, a loyal, people loving dog.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BECAUSE OF THEIR STRENGTH AND AT TIMES THEIR SIZES, THEY SHOULD BE INTRODUCED AND RAISED FROM A PUP WHEN CHILDREN, SMALL ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN THE SURROUNDINGS WHERE THE PUP WILL BE RAISED.
They are NOT recognized as a guard dog, their size makes them an effective visual deterrent. The "GENTLE GIANT" size is intimidating to people, that alone should deter the intruder. They usually do not bark. They have a beautiful howl, which often is referred to as "THE CALL OF THE WILD" Hardy, durable breed, capable of enduring extreme cold, able to deal quite well with the heat, if given shade. If they are given love, attention, these dogs will be friends and companions for life.
Occasionally, I have a pup from a litter that I cannot bear to part with or to carry on the breeding program. My goal push button is to produce in a lifetime an outstanding looking Alaskan malamute in size, appearance, color formation.
I strive to produce maintain Alaskan malamute with that original intend in mind. I make every effort to produce, ensure sell healthy well tempered pups. All my present breeding dogs, are registered. Each of my dogs has their own individual chain link pens 20 x 50 x 6 feet high. Attached is a fenced play-in yard. My malamutes are not kennel bred, they are home bred. They are sound in body & mind, full of vitality. THEY VARY IN SIZE, WEIGHT. Larger size "Gentle Giants" They have their turn in traveling, camping, fishing, long extended walks.
They have excellent temperaments, personalities. This trait is passed on to their offspring. I have them on the "Kelp" program. Gentle Giants over 100 pounds, are OFA certified after two years old...
I do my utmost to ensure that my pups are in excellent health, free of heredity diseases. I offer responsible Malamute enthusiasts the opportunity to own one of these special pups at a reasonable price, without going into debt in the process.
I PLACE MY PUPS WITH ACTIVE, RESPONSIBLE CARING INDIVIDUALS WHO HAS THE TIME, KNOWLEDGE. ABILITY, FACILITIES, PATIENT, RESOURCES TO PROVIDE A GOOD, PERMANENT HOME WHERE THE PUP WILL LIVE A LONG, HAPPY, SECURE LIFE..THE BUYER MUST HAVE RESEARCHED THE BREED, BE WILLING TO ACCEPT THE RESPONSIBILITIES THAT GOES ALONG WITH MALAMUTE OWNERSHIP.
When the pups are born, they are born in a whelping room, completely insulated, heated if needed that is directly connected to the inside of my home. They stay indoors until four weeks of age, which at that time, the pups are then introduced to the pet door of the whelping room, which they soon learn to follow mom outdoors. At an early age, the pups are socialized with my indoor cats, outdoor adult dogs..
